We're redoing our kiddo's room so he has more incentive to stay in it during night time, so we came up with the original (sarcasm please) idea of a train theme. I went crazy and bought EVERY single set of Thomas Decals I could get my hands on. This is by far one of the best.
Why you ask - what can be so great about some vinyl that sticks to a wall?
(1) it's thomas, my son is obsessed with thomas
(2) it's pretty easy to use. and if you make a mistake, it's not lined right, whatever, you can peel it off and start again.
(3) I like that it's flat against the wall and not something he can grab and take off the wall - like his dr. seuss one
(4) the little "railroad signs" to mark his height is ultra cute
This isn't an eyesore like some other charts and it goes great with his theme.
A couple of things - make sure you mark the 1 inch mark with a pencil - BUT if your walls are like ours with a thick baseboard, start at 4 or 5 inches to make the line. Don't peel off the entire chart from the paper. Cut out the chart. Cut about 6 - 8 inches (smaller if you can get to the 1inch marker) of the paper backing off the chart. Position the bottom where it needs to go. And then take the rest of the backing off. It makes the chart more manageable to stick on the wall - repeat with the top portion. It helped me keep the chart straight, with no fears of it crumpling down and stick to itself.
I also made 6" markers up the wall to ensure the chart was leveled and the measurements are accurate.
The chart is laying over a seablue wall and you can barely notice it on the chart - whereas the other vinyls we used (thomas panel) you can tell that the vinyls are see thru.

This growth chart was just adorable! Easy to use & a great addition to the Thomas the Train room decor. It had many places to write the growth information for my son.

My 2 year old son just loves his chart. It is awesome. The stick on the wall is great just don't put it up infront of the child or else he will try to peel it off. We love it!

I love this chart. It's easy to use and transport. It's also see through which is nice and the clear plastic doesn't hurt the painted wall or door. I love how you can move the arrows as well.

My son loves them! We put it up in his bedroom and it's a wonderful decor too. Easy-to-read/follow instructions. We always look forward to finding out how much he's grown since the last time.
