 Not what I had hoped forMar 02, 2010

I bought these stickers to help me create an underwater scene for my toddler son's bedroom. I', not an artsy type, but I managed to create a seascape by painting the top of the wall a light blue with a deeper blue beneath waves. It actually looked better before I added these lackluster stickers that are anything but colorful and cheery. They are dull and plasticy looking and the edge around the fish is very noticeable. They really looked horrible. The only good thing was that they peeled off easily without damaging the paint job. I instead used "transfers" of fish, which are not stickers, but more like the rub on temporary tatoos you can put on your skin. They were a little more tricky to put on, but much more vivid and colorful, and without the ugly oversized plastic looking edges.

We love using appliques to decorate the kids' rooms, and it's terrific they can be moved around whenever we want. We got the fish and space appliques for our older daughters, and the safari animals for our nursery. When hit by crosslight or applied over a dark surface you can see the border around the figures, but otherwise they blend in seamlessly to the wall. We have slight texturing on our walls and the appliques still cling okay, but if you have a lot of texturing they may not work.

The Stickers were a nice way to brighten up the bathroom. They were easy to peel off from the original sheets as well as for re-aligning from one wall to another (of course you need time and patience for this). The stickers are slightly dull than what you see on the web on-line when ordering, but that really was not a problem as too glossy would have made the bathroom look too decorated. Overall, great product so far. I would recommend this to anyone.

The colors aren't very vibrant compared to other stickers I've purchased. I stuck them on a dark blue wall and you can see the sticker outline. It may work better on lighter walls. Overall, it's ok. They are on my sons bedroom wall. It still looks cute but I would recommend looking into other products if you want the "painted on" look. I don't think you'll get it from these

"Spanish Speaker Mom"
First, I didn't received what I ordered or what I expected. I ordered a set with dolphins and this doesn't have any. The pictures lack definition, color and have a border of a 1/4 of an inch and even though its transparent, it takes away the feeling of reality. They look handrawn in a bad way! Like a bad color copy. I don't think I will use them because they will ruin my decor, this was intended to finish the undersea decoration of my kids room. Everything else is so beautiful, this will ruin it all. Since This is an international order I guess I will trash them because it will cost me too much to send them back. Im in Central America.
First time it happens with Amazon.
