I saw a video of this snoring pig online, then saw one in a bookstore. I just HAD to have him. This little piggy's snoring and dreaming about "slops" is just too much fun. I also love that Arnold's "skin" is velvetty soft. The only drawback for me is that the mechanism that makes the pig talk/snore is lumpy, so he's not completely snuggly. For younger children, I could see him wearing out too quickly because of the soft fabric and snoring mechanism. Otherwise, he's a must have for any pig lover - kids and adults alike!

This toy was purchased as a joke gift for my sister. She collects pigs, but we also call her a little piggy behind her back! She kind of didn't like the gift at first, but then liked it later. The rest of us laughed and laughed!

I first saw this toy at the Machine Shed Restaurant in Des Moines, IA, in early June. Since that time, I have purchased several more online, to give as gifts.
Everyone loves this pig, with his snoring and talking in his sleep, with his tummy moving, thanks to the batteries. Since the batteries are replacable, am sure this toy can be enjoyed for many years. Thank you so much for stocking and selling them.

We adopted Arnold for our 7.5 month old daughter. When she first saw him make the snoring noises and ears wiggle she just kept laughing. Countless times of Arnold snoring later she still enjoys watching and hearing him. I thought it was very creative of Gund with the chest movement synchronize with the snoring. My wife gets a kick of him dreaming about his bowl of slop tasting sooooo good. The snoring sounds a bit like a Three Stooges routine but that is part of its charm.
From a parent perspective although it is repetitive it does not quickly get to you like some of the Elmo products can.

Arnold the Snoring Pig is a terrific plush toy that both kids and adults will really enjoy. He is very soft and squeezable and would make a great nap buddy for young children. You can squeeze his paw to activate his snoring and talking features. He doesn't say too many different things, but the things that he says are very cute. I ordered this product on a whim (and because I love pigs and my parents refused to let me have one as a pet when I was young, which probably scarred me for life) and my expectations were greatly exceeded. I have had Arnold for a while now and the batteries have never needed replacing- he stills snores on command. Great energy saver! He also shakes and his legs and ears wiggle as he snores. Highly recommended for the plush toy collector or pig fan.
